Shah Rukh Khan’s Professional Approach

Kashyap elaborated on his concerns regarding Shah Rukh Khan’s working methodology in the film industry. According to the director, SRK’s primary approach involves taking creative control over projects, particularly through his production company Red Chillies. Kashyap explained that he wanted Khan to function purely as an actor while contributing his craft, rather than exerting control over the entire production. The filmmaker acknowledged that while Shah Rukh maintains professional decorum compared to other actors, his business approach raises concerns about creative autonomy in filmmaking.

Mediation Attempts and Personal Respect

Despite their professional disagreements, Kashyap revealed that Shah Rukh Khan made genuine efforts to reconcile him with Salman Khan during their past conflicts. The actor allegedly approached Kashyap multiple times, asking about their issues and offering to mediate the situation. However, Kashyap chose to keep Shah Rukh out of the dispute at that time. The director also expressed respect for Khan’s family life, stating he deliberately holds back personal information to protect his family’s privacy, especially given the strain from the Aryan Khan case that has affected the actor significantly.
