Akshay Kumar says on his Indian passport application
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is frequently chastised for his Canadian citizenship. He is now submitting his application for an Indian passport.
Akshay Kumar is a Bollywood superstar and one of the most successful actors in the Hindi film industry. He has appeare in over 100 films also received numerous accolades, including 2 National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards. Kumar is also one of the industry’s highest-paid actors.
While he has entertained everyone for nearly three decades, he is frequently chastised for his Canadian citizenship, which is usually raised when Akshay promotes national causes.
Akshay Kumar promised on the final day of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2019 that he would apply for an Indian passport soon. “Just because I have a Canadian passport does not make me less of an Indian.

Another criticism that Akshay confronted was that he took on too many projects in a year. He stated that he did not understand why that was a problem. “I make four movies a year.” I do it. Sure, I do advertisements. I work and do not steal from anyone. I don’t understand. People often ask me why I get up so early. But isn’t the purpose of the morning to wake up? I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’ll get to work.
