A few years ago, Alia Bhatt recreated the viral ‘land kara de’ video in a new commercial.

Alia Bhatt appears in a new commercial alongside an unlikely ‘co-actor’ in Vipin Kumar. Many people will remember him as the reality show contestant, and vlogger known as the “Land kara de” guy after one of his paragliding videos went viral on social media a few years ago. In an advertisement for a chocolate brand, Vipin recreates the famous video, but this time with Alia as his instructor, who appears to have a solution for his problem.
Vipin was scared and nervous during a paragliding session somewhere in the hills in the original video released in 2019. His reactions and lines, especially the phrase ‘land kara de (please make me land),’ went viral and became meme material.
Vipin can paraglide while shooting a video with a selfie stick in the new video he shared on Instagram. He repeats the same lines from his original video, which went viral in 2019. “It’s foggy all around,” he says in Hindi. “I was insane to come here.” At that point, viewers notice that the instructor for this ride is Alia Bhatt. “I don’t want a long ride,” Vipin continues.
Bhai 500 zyada le par land kara de (Please take 500 rupees more but let me land).”
Alia then pulls out a Perk chocolate bar and hands it to him. Then we see Vipin eating the chocolate bar casually.
Vipin captioned the video on Instagram, “Who Said A Meme Can’t Achieve the Heights?” Who said memes only last 1 to 2 months? Breaking all bakwas stereotypes while shooting with @aliaabhatt.” He also expressed gratitude to Alia and Cadbury for the opportunity. “Thank you for this wonderful opportunity, @cadburyperkindia.” And I almost lived a fantasy life by photographing you, @aliaabhatt. I get nervous in the first shot because I can’t imagine sitting next to each other one day.
Alia was most recently seen in Gangubai Kathiawadi, which received positive reviews and succeeded. Fans and critics alike praised Alia for her portrayal of a brothel madam. The actress will next be see in Brahmastra, her first collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor. The film, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Amitabh Bachchan, will be released on September 9.
