Financial scam-accused Mehul Choksi, secured in Dominica, will probably be localized directly to India as Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Gaston Browne told news office ANI that Antigua wouldn’t acknowledge him back. 

Browne said he had mentioned PM Skerrit and law authorization in Dominica to not return Choksi to Antigua where he has lawful and sacred assurance as a resident, the news office detailed. 

PM Gaston Browne stated:

The head administrator likewise said that Choksi made a “stupendous mistake” by escaping the island. His relatives remaining in Antigua are legitimate residents, and they are not known to be “suppose crooks”, the executive said.

As PM Browne reported ANI:

“He (Choksi) was found in Dominica. He may have entered the island illicitly, potentially by boats. The Dominican government is helping out the Antiguan and Indian governments. 

We have mentioned Dominican law requirement offices to not return him to Antigua, where he has lawful and sacred rights as a resident. 

We explicitly mentioned them to have Indian law authorization offices make vital game plans to have him returned straightforwardly to India,” Browne told ANI. 

The Indian and Antiguan specialists are in contact with the Dominican government, he said. 

Mehul Choksi wanted in connection with a ₹13,500-crore loan fraud in PNB:

As per reports, Mehul Choksi wanted in India regarding a ₹13,500-crore credit extortion in Punjab National Bank, disappeared on Sunday. He was most recently seen on Sunday at 5.15 pm, leaving home in a vehicle. 

His legal advisor Vijay Aggarwal said his relatives were concerned as he went to a notable eatery for supper and didn’t return. 

Antigua police increased the hunt and questioned his family members and partners. In the meantime, his vehicle was found at Jolly Harbor without any of him.

The police issued a missing person notice:

The police gave a missing individual notification and looked for the help of general society in knowing the whereabouts of Choksi.

Choksi had taken the citizenship of Antigua:
