Aryan will hear tomorrow. NCB accuses Khan of having links with international drug networks.

Shah Rukh’s son Aryan’s bail plea has been heard by a sessions court in Mumbai today (October 13) after 11 am tomorrow.

 In court, the NCB said it had received nothing from Aryan but was involved in the conspiracy. Aryan is in judicial custody for 14 days in the Cruise Drugs Party case. And Arthur Road is in prison. Shah Rukh has hired lawyer Amit Desai for Aryan. 

He argues in court along with Satish Manshind. Desai had released Salman on bail in a hit-and-run case. The bail application was heard in VV Patil’s court. Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani and security guard Ravi are present in the court.

NCB’s lawyer accused of international drug trafficking

ASG (Additional Solicitor General) Anil Singh showed WhatsApp chat in court. He said large-scale drug conversations in chats could not be for personal use. He has also spoken to the Ministry of External Affairs for the identification of the foreign national.

 He confiscated drugs and talked about chats because, in the case of this conspiracy, not all the accused need to have a commercial dose or a moderate dose. 

Whether small or commercial, there is a conspiracy if Section 29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs Psychotropic Substances Act 1985) is enforced. When this clause applies, the person is charged with a crime and is punished for the same crime as a conspirator.

ASG Anil Singh further said that drugs were recovered from other accused. WhatsApp chat is necessary because it involves the purchase of large quantities of drugs. 

There is talk of drugs with a foreign national and that too in huge quantities. He did not know about these drugs, but his officials said they were hard drugs. He argues that he has arrested 20 people so far, and 4 of them are drug peddlers, and commercial quantities of drugs were recovered from one of them. 

Archit and Shivraj are also drug peddlers.

ASG Anil Singh further said in his argument that he did not deny the conspiracy. It is not that the day Aryan was arrested, he knew this was a conspiracy. He involved this in the third remand. 

There are 20 accused, and some are drug peddlers. Khan and Merchant spoke to him, and there is evidence of that. These chats refer to money or bulk amounts. Then there is also a conversation with a foreign national about hard drugs. 

According to the Punchnama, drugs were not recovered from Khan. Received from Arbaaz. The logic is that the drugs were obtained from Arbaaz Merchant and that Aryan found them at his home. In his statement, he has said that he has a relationship with Aryan Khan. 

The merchant left the house in the car with Khan and was at the terminal and was apprehended here. The drugs were with Arbaaz for their consumption, and both knew about it. Khan also knew that the merchant had drugs.

The NCB, in its reply, called Aryan an influential person. The NCB said it could tamper with the evidence. Accused Archit Kumar and Shivraj gave charas to accused Aryan and Arbaaz. 

Aryan and Arbaaz are connected. His records contain material that suggests Aryan had contacts with several people abroad who appear to be part of an international drug network for the illicit purchase of drugs. The investigation is ongoing.

What did Aryan’s lawyer say in court?

Aryan’s lawyer Amit Desai questioned the work of the NCB, saying that the Central Investigation Agency had spoken of international trafficking on October 4 and today is October 13.

NCB opposes bail

Earlier, NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede said his case was strong and would take it to court. However, the NCB will oppose the bail plea saying that Aryan will be interrogated against the other accused.

Aryan’s sixth day in jail The NCB arrested Aryan on October 3. Aryan has been in Arthur Road jail since October 8 after receiving judicial custody from the court. Arya has admitted that he took charas in the interrogation.
