For what reason Ashley Johnson took legal action against Brian Wayne foster
Ashley Johnson, star of The Last of Us and Critical Role, recently filed a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend after a string of troubling incidents.
The restraining order was requested in response to allegations of violence, threats, and extortion attempts directed towards Johnson and her family following their divorce.
Johnson and her previous lover, Brian Wayne Foster, had been in a long-term relationship that began in 2012. They lived together for a long time and even announced their engagement in 2018 on different social media channels, including Instagram and Critical Role live streams.
However, their relationship was far from the beautiful image given to admirers.
The ‘Blindspot’ actress claims she has been subjected to “many acts of terror” and verbal abuse from Foster. She ultimately ended her connection with Foster in March after attempting to do so for nearly two years. Foster’s violent and hazardous behaviour escalated as a result of this decision.
According to the 39-year-old actor’s statements, Foster’s drug use exacerbated his already erratic behaviour. Johnson was forced to evacuate her house, fearing for her and her family’s safety, and swiftly filed an emergency restraining order on May 15.
Foster was described as being “close to the edge” in the legal document, with the potential to cause harm not only to her but also to her immediate relatives.
The issue became more complicated when Johnson’s ex-boyfriend allegedly shut her out of her internet and devices, leaving her lonely and unprotected. In a terrible twist, shortly after their divorce, he attempted to extort $150,000 from the actress. As a result, Johnson’s mother, sister, and two nephews have been added to the restraining order.
The order will be the subject of a hearing on June 9.
Ashley Johnson is well-known for her role as Ellie in the video game series The Last of Us, as well as her recent cameo as Ellie’s mother in the TV adaptation. She also voiced Terra in Teen Titans and played the role of Patterson.
Brian Wayne Foster was also associated with Critical Role, having hosted a number of Critical Role-related discussion shows, including Talks Machina and Between the Sheets. He also appeared in a few one-shot adventures and directed the Undeadwood miniseries.
