Previous cricketer Aakash Chopra accepts that India is missing Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the continuous ICC World Test Championship against New Zealand at the Rose Bowl, Southampton.

His assertion comes after the Indian speed threesome of Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah wasn’t getting sufficient swing against the Kiwi batsmen on the third day’s play.

In his most recent YouTube video, Chopra believed that Bhuvneshwar might have played the far and away swing bowler’s job like Kiwi bowlers.

Responding to a fan’s inquiry in his video, the cricketer-turned-analyst said, “India is certainly missing Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He has three extraordinary viewpoints too. First, right off the bat, he does magic with the new ball. Furthermore, the bowls the long spells.”

They don’t swing the ball; they are crease bowlers,” Chopra said.

“Whoever is speedier noticeable all around, he gets marginally lesser swing. A crease bowler isn’t a swing bowler. To get the swing, you need to shift the crease marginally, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar does that thing pleasantly.

I would say you might have considered both Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Deepak Chahar for this visit through England,” he added.

Bhuvneshwar was India’s critical bowler in their 2014 visit through England. He got 19 wickets in the five Tests and contributed 247 runs with the bat, including three fifties.

The right-arm speedy will travel Sri Lanka as bad habit chief of a second-string Indian side for a 3-match ODI arrangement and a large number, to be played one month.
