Rhea Chakraborty, in her statement before the Supreme Court, claimed that the ED case against her is being given a political spin due to the forthcoming Assembly election in Bihar.

On Wednesday, post the Supreme Court’s decision of handing over the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case to the CBI, Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey said that one of the accused in the case, actor and ex-girlfriend of Sushant, Rhea Chakraborty does not the stature to comment on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar

Bihar DGP makes a controversial jibe at actress Rhea Chakraborty:

In a video shared by ANI news agency, the Bihar DGP Pandey made the controversial comment in front of the cameras, he said, that what Bihar Police was doing was legally and constitutionally right. Because of Bihar Chief Minister’s support, there exists hope for the late actor and his family to get justice. The DGP from Bihar questioned the “aukat” of actress Rhea Chakraborty, who stated that the case was being given a political spin due to the upcoming Bihar state polls. 

A political spin being given due to Bihar elections, says Rhea Chakraborty:

Rhea Chakraborty in her statement before the apex court requesting the transfer of FIR filed in Patna to Mumbai, said that the Bihar police had no jurisdiction in the case. She states that the very foundation of the federal structure was at stake by the present actions of the Bihar government. The Supreme Court of India upheld the FIR registered in Patna by KK Singh, Sushant’s father, demanding justice for his son who allegedly committed suicide on June 14. The CBI will take over the reins of the investigation from the Mumbai Police.
