BLACKPINK Releases Trailer for Comeback Album Born Pink; Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa To Go On World Tour In October
BLACKPINK is coming back to your town! Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, also Lisa are preparing for a comeback album, and YG Entertainment has released a trailer for it. BLACKPINK’s new album trailer, titled Born Pink, provides an intriguing glimpse into the album’s vibe.
The trailer begins with what appear to be pink fangs, each with a drop of poison the drop results in a pink mist. The trailer concludes with the album’s title, Born Pink. The album will be released in September.
The new album arrived nearly two years after BLACKPINK’s first full-length album, THE ALBUM, was released. Then, the album was titled, Lovesick Girls. On one of the tracks, Ice Cream, the K-pop group collaborated with Selena Gomez.
Aside from the announcement of the new album, YG Entertainment also revealed that the members will embark on a world tour. The Blackpink will embark on a world tour in October, beginning in South Korea. Born Pink’s announcement comes shortly after BLACKPINK’s new single Ready for Love was release. The pre-release single was release in August, also fans have adore the music video.
For quite some time, the members have been hinting at their return. Jisoo was interacting with fans aka BLINKS on Reverse, a few weeks ago when one of them asked her about the comeback news. “Can you give a spoiler about your comeback?” a fan inquired, according to a BLACKPINK fan account, @BLCKPINKweverse. “There are a lot of good songs,” Jisoo responded. But, wait a minute, let’s hear some good news together.”
Jennie appeared on The Game Caterers 2 earlier this year and confirmed that a comeback was in the works. “BLACKPINK is getting glad to make a comeback.” I’m not sure if I’m allow to say this, but since I’m alone here, I’ll say whatever I want. Please lend us your vital support.”
