Music investor Gulshan Kumar, the proprietor of T-Series, was shot dead while emerging from a sanctuary at Jeet Nagar in Juhu on August 12, 1997.

On Thursday, the Bombay high court excused an allure recorded by Abdul Rauf, an assistant of criminal Dawood Ibrahim, testing his Conviction and life term given to him for the homicide of T-Series organizer Gulshan Kumar. Mumbai police had recorded a 400-page charge sheet containing the names of 26 accused. Music arranger Nadeem Akhtar Saifee was announced a co-plotter for the situation a couple of days after Kumar’s passing. Ramesh Taurani, the proprietor of Tips tapes, was captured for abetting his homicide. Saifee has anyway stayed in the United Kingdom since the murder.
