BSF officer slinks 150 feet into the Jaish terrorists used tunnel, discovers Pak imprint.

Key points:

  1.  The names and backgrounds of the four Jaish operators are being pursued by Indian intelligence agencies.
  2. The individuals cited above indicated that on the other side of the fence, there might have been a Pakistani spotter.
  3. A case has been reported in the Nagrota police station incident.
  4. Recoveries from the bodies suggest that the terrorists had preparations for a major operation.

On Monday, Border Security Force (BSF) Director-General Rakesh Asthana ordered it intensified patrolling of the international border towards Pakistan in the Samba as well as Rajouri sectors of Jammu & Kashmir, with the goal of uncovering more cross-border tunnels, such as which is used by the four Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists have killed in a November 19 gun battle.

Indian Intelligence’s investigating their name:

Although the names and backgrounds of the four Jaish operators are being pursued by Indian intelligence agencies, sources aware of the investigation said it was clear that the attackers remained inside the tunnel until moving out on a moonless night during November 19.

Commander Rathore crawled in the tunnel:

The individuals added that further evidence of this came from an Indian soldier (Commander Rathore of the 173 battalions) crawling 150 feet into the Jaish terrorists’ tunnel and retrieving packets of biscuits as well as other food wrappers.

The production date of a Lahore-based product, the “Master Cuisine Cupcake” biscuits, was May 2020, with the expiry date were November 17, 2020.

Terrorists were released from JeM’s Shakargarh camp:

The individuals cited above indicated that on the other side of the fence, there might have been a Pakistani spotter, maybe a Ranger, to instruct the operatives when to travel safely out of the tunnel.

Intelligence reports said the four terrorists were released from JeM’s Shakargarh camp then transferred to Mawa in Samba district, between both the sectors of Ramgarh as well as Hiranagar.

The pick-up point was the village of Jatwal—Nagwal, which falls under Bari Manhassan near Shakargarh, is the village bang against it on the Pakistani side.

Four terrorists were killed in a gunfight:

The plan was thwarted when the security forces intercepted a truck carrying the newly infiltrated militants on the outskirts of Jammu City on November 19, and even the four terrorists being killed in a gunfight.

Terrorists with a huge preparation:

A case has been reported in the Nagrota police station incident, and recoveries from the bodies suggest that the terrorists had preparations for a major operation—they brought Rs 1.5 lakh in Indian currency, Chinese Black Star pistols, wire cutters, and grenades, apart from assault rifles with explosives of nitrocellulose fuel oil, which were also included in the Pulwama attack in 2019.

Special inspection of Asthana Tunnel:

Asthana called for special tunnel inspection teams to trawl the international border after the discovery of the tunnel, as the entire belt is vulnerable to JeM infiltration.

It is understood that other Pakistani parties, such as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Al Badr, are infiltrating further north again from Uri and Kupwara sectors across the Line of Control (LOC).
