CBI interrogates Rhea Chakraborty on a consecutive day in the Sushant Singh Rajput death probe.
On Friday, Rhea Chakraborty was interrogated for 10 hours by the CBI; CBI also summons Siddharth Pithani, SSR’s maids, cooks, and manager, to probe the reason for his demise.
Actor Rhea Chakraborty is being questioned for the second consecutive day on Saturday by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in relevance to the death of fellow actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Chakraborty, who is suspect of abetting Rajput’s suicide, was escorted by a van to the DRDO guest house in Mumbai’s territorial dominion Santacruz, where the probe team was stationed, around 1.30 pm, wire service PTI reported.

Earlier at intervals the morning, the central agency quizzed Rajput’s friend Siddharth Pithani, cook Neeraj Singh, retainer Keshav, manager Samual Miranda and controller Rajat Mewati. On a weekday, Chakraborty was interrogated by the central agency team for over 10 hours and was allowed to return home below police escort as she requested for security once her father and building guard was fogbound by a mob. Associate in Nursing outsized presence of media was jointly gathered outside her Santacruz residence. The same day, the CBI jointly questioned Chakraborty’s brother Showik. He was questioned on a weekday too.
Rhea Chakraborty requests police protection:
Based on the request created by the CBI, the Mumbai Police provided security to Chakraborty; a political candidate was quoted as a spoken language by PTI. The CBI needed to refer the report of his post-mortem, done at Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital, to a team of doctors at AIIMS. The 28-year-old actress, Rhea, is additionally facing cases filed by the Narcotics management Bureau (NCB) and the social control board of directors (ED) about the case. ED had sophisticated NCB during a letter that its investigation had discovered that medicine was equipped to Rhea and Sushant.
