The most awaited series of Disney+ by the fans is WandaVision. Both the actors will represent their Marvel cinematic universe MCU characters. 

WandaVision casts Elisabeth Olsen in the lead role-playing the character of Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch. On the other hand, Paul Bettany will play the opposite lead role of Vision.

Why is Elizabeth Olsen excited to bring Scarlet Witch on Disney+ with WandaVision? 

Olsen recently had an interview with The New York Times. In that interview, she talked about her upcoming series WandaVision. 

She is excited as she did not get much time to play the character of Scarlet Witch onscreen. She further opens up that now the fans will get to know more about WandaMaximoff. 

Olsen stated that it is going to be more fun as the fans will get to know her character in comics. Wanda Maximoff is a representation of mental health and illness in the comic book series and her major role in handling that stigma within Marvel.

Elisabeth Olsen calls the concept of WandVision, “Incredible.” However, she did not open much about how Vision will enter as he died in Avengers Infinity War. She further added the probability of Wanda’s future in the MCU.

There are speculations that WandaVision will be linked to Doctor Strange’s sequel. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Of Madness will star Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role. 

The movie is set to hit the theatres in 2022. Olsen did not speak much about the film as it was too early. The actor did mention that she would love to do a five-or-six-week independent film, after the Doctor Strange sequel.

All about WandaVision:

WandaVision takes place after the events of Avengers Endgame. It will be released in December 2020. It will have six episodes and the first movie from phase four. It has already created hype among the fans.

The other casts include Teyonah Parris, Kat Dennings, Randall Park, Kathryn Hahn, along with Fred Melamed, Debra Jo Rupp, and Asif Ali.
