Finally Rohit Shetty talks about Cirkus box office failure

In a new interview, filmmaker Rohit Shetty said that Cirkus failure did not leave him sad or dissatisfied despite working hard on the picture.

Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma played dual parts in the film. Rohit recently remarked on the film’s failure and stated that he does not believe in blaming anyone.

Rohit Shetty talks about Cirkus failure:

“It didn’t hurt me,” Rohit recently told Bollywood Bubble. I’m not the type of person that gets upset or disappointed when you work hard on something and it doesn’t work out, but you figure it out and go on.

You cannot be a getaway. Cirkus was created in the same way that Sooryavanshi was. If Chennai Express is my film, Dilwale is mine as well. Dilwale did not do as well as Chennai Express, but that is to be expected.”

“The best part is that you won’t be able to deny it.” You cannot create excuses for why something did not work.

You had gone wrong someplace, and if you, as a man, acknowledge this, examine it, and sit with your team, they will also admit that we all went wrong somewhere, so let’s go on to the next project.

That, I believe, is life. Life has ups and downs; you learn from your mistakes and never become an escapist.

So, suppose Sooryavanshi was my movie, released a year before we opened the theatres and was the biggest hit with only 50% seating capacity, and everything is going well.

In that case, the audience is coming to the theatres, and we’ll give a film (Cirkus) that doesn’t do well, that also belongs to me, and I will not deny that,” he added.

Cirkus the movie:

Cirkus is a remake of William Shakespeare’s comedy The Comedy of Errors.

Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Murali Sharma, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar, Siddharth Jadhav, Vrajesh Hirjee, Tiku Talsania, Brijendra Kala, and Sulabha Arya were among those who featured with Ranveer Singh and Varun.

Not only did the film receive criticism, but it also failed to attract a large audience to the theatres.
