For the first time 2 Vande Bharat Train flagged by PM Modi

PM Modi Flagged 2 Vande Bharat train today in Mumbai, CM Shinde was present there.

Two Vande Bharat Train were flagged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday; one will run between Mumbai and Solapur and the other between Mumbai and Shirdi. 

The inauguration ceremony was held in attendance of Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde, deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Railways minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in Mumbai.

“For the 1st time, 2 Vande Bharat trains launched together. They’ll connect financial hubs like Mumbai & Pune to centres of our devotion. The prime minister said it’ll benefit college-going & office-going individuals, farmers & devotees”.

“Vande Bharat train is a superb picture of today’s modern India. It’s a review of India’s speed & scale. You can witness the speed with which the nation is launching Vande Bharat. 10 trains launched”, he further added.

“A gift of 2 Vande Bharat together, also from the historic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. Work has started to make this an int’l level terminus”, Ashwini Vaishnaw was quoted.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Vande Bharat Train:

CM Eknath Shinde stated it is for the 1st time that Maharashtra got ₹13,500 crores for railways. 

“A few people commented on what did Maharashtra get in the budget. But they didn’t read. 

As Railway Minister and Deputy CM stated, Maharashtra had never got ₹13,500 cr for the railway. 

For the 1st time, this amount has been given for railway in the state”, he said at the event.

Here’s the train schedule of both Vande Bharat Train:

Vande Bharat from Mumbai to Solapur:

Except for Wednesday, this train runs six days a week between Mumbai and Solapur. 

The train departs from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal (CSMT) at 4:05 pm and will reach Solupar at 10:40 pm.

The chair car ticket without catering service will cost ₹1000 and with service will cost ₹1300. The executive chair car ticket without catering will cost ₹2,015 and ₹2,365 with service.

Vande Bharat from Mumbai to Shirdi:

This train will run from CSMT to Sainagar Shirdi; the train will depart around 6.20 am and will reach Shirdi at 11.40 am. 

The chair car ticket without catering service will cost ₹840 and ₹975 with catering service. The executive chair car ticket with catering service will cost ₹1,670 and ₹1,840 with food.
