Govinda disables comments after being mercilessly trolled

Govinda, a Bollywood actor who recently made a comeback with a series of self-directed songs, received a lot of trolls on social media.

Govinda, a veteran Bollywood actor, known for his slapstick performances and dance skills in various movies from the 1990s. And the following decade, has released a series of songs on his YouTube channel called ‘Govinda Royalles’ that he directed himself.

On January 5, Govinda released the third song, ‘Hello,’ which featured actor Nisha Sharma as the ‘Hero No. 1′ and was dubbed ’embarrassing’ by Netizens. Many users take to the comments area to challenge him to create “something better.”

While another user stated, “Please come out of the 90s. We’re in 2022, not the 1990s,” another added, “and things are only getting worse. With all of his acting talent, this guy has lost his senses.”

“Sir Izzat Se Retire Ho Jao,” read one comment. However, Shakti Kapoor, who has worked with the actor on numerous occasions, thought the song ‘Amazing.’

Following the audience’s reaction to the song, the yesteryear star turned off comments on the previous. And the most recent release, ‘Mere Naal,’ which was released earlier this week on the occasion of ‘Lohri,’ a cultural festival.

Amid this upsetting situation for the actor, his nephew, actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek, came to his aid. Krushna, who was recently in the news for his feud with uncle Govinda, addressed the trolls during his recent appearance. When asked to comment, Abhishek said, “For me, he will always be Hero No. 1.”
