Dharmesh Parmar, known as MC Tod Fod, a Gully Boy rapper, died at 24. Ranveer Singh also Siddhant Chaturvedi have mourned his death.

Gully Boy actors Ranveer Singh also Siddhant Chaturvedi have expressed their condolences on the death of Dharmesh Parmar, also known as rapper MC Tod Fod. He died when he was 24 years old. He had contributed his voice to the Gully Boy song India 91. His causality of death has not been disclosed. He was a member of the Mumbai-based hip-hop group Swadesi.

Siddhant Chaturvedi had a chat with MC Tod Fod.

Siddhant also shared a screenshot of his conversation with the late rapper, in which they can be seen complimenting each other on their music and performance. “RIP bhai,” he wrote, along with a broken-heart emoticon.

Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar, was inspire by the lives of Indian street rappers Divine also Naezy. It was a coming-of-age story everywhere an aspiring street rapper (Ranveer Singh) from Mumbai’s Dharavi slums. In the film, Siddhant Chaturvedi played his mentor MC Sher. It also starred Alia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Varma, Amruta Subhash, and Vijay Raaz.
