The state is currently lifting one restriction after another as the second wave of Corona has come to an end. Currently, night curfew will be in force from 11 pm to 6 am in 8 cities from 17th August to 28th August.

 On the other hand, Janmashtami is coming on August 30. On Janmashtami day across the country, Krishna devotees celebrate Lord Krishna’s birthday at 12 o’clock at night. 

But if the government does not relax the night curfew in the new guideline after August 28, devotees will have to celebrate Krishna’s birth at 12 noon on Janmashtami night at home.

 This means that devotees will have to celebrate Kanaya’s birthday at home for the second year in a row.

It is up to the government to decide whether the devotees will get admission or not: Bhadaj Harekrishna Mandir.

For the second time in the history of Rajkot, the Lokmelo has been cancelled after 51 years. About 100 fairs are organized in Saurashtra during Shravan Mass. In which folk fair lasts for five days, and private fair lasts for 20 days.

 In which more than 10 lakh people visit Lokmela. This time, indifference is being seen among the people who are staying at the fair. As a precautionary measure, it has been decided to cancel the Lokmela.

What is the current guideline of the government?

The state is currently in control of the Corona transition, but the government recently announced an extension of the night curfew in 8 metros to prevent the transition from spreading further.

 The curfew will be in force from August 17 to August 28 in 8 cities from 11 pm to 6 am. Earlier on July 28, 8 cities were given 1-hour relief from night curfew. Ganeshotsav is also allowed to be celebrated.

 It remains to be seen whether the government will ease the night curfew and allow Janmashtami celebrations after August 28 in its new guidelines. In addition, the wedding can be continued till 10 pm at hotels and restaurants in these eight metros.
