IPL 2020 17th match Mumbai Indians beat SRH by 34runs.

MI vs SRH 17th IPL 2020 match played in Sharjah Stadium. MI scored 208 thanks to De Kock, Pandya Brothers and Pollard hitting. Warner played a good knock, but this time it didn’t help his team win the match. SRH lost the game by 34runs.

MI scored 208 batting first:

Mumbai Indians lost Rohit Sharma early, Sandeep Sharma took the wicket of Hitman. But De Kock played a good knock of 67 which helped MI get a good start. In middle overs, Suryakumar and Ishan played an excellent inning which allowed Pollard and Pandya’s brothers cut lose in final overs. Krunal Pandya a good handy knock in last over scored 20 of only four balls which helped MI cross 200 marks.

Rashid and Natrajan bowled well for SRH but could not control fire hitting of MI:

Rashid, Natarajan and Sandeep tried to control inning but failed as remaining bowlers went for more than 15runs per over.

Small Ground of Sharjah a Batting Paradise for Batsman:

Once again Sharjah pitch remains true for the batsman, and small ground helps batsman hit few sixes. MI batsman today hit 14sixes in an inning.

In reply to MI’s 208 SRH:

Bairstow and Warner looked threatening in the starting, but Bairstow once again got out. Pandey tried to up the run rate with warner, but he too lost his wicket. Warner was left alone, he socred good 60 but he again got out after getting set which made the situation worst for SRH. Till 14th over match was in balance, but SRH lost too many wickets that also of set batsman which helped MI control the game. 

MI bowled well in Small Sharjah ground:

Pattinson and Boult’s bowling was good both pacers took two wickets each which helped MI took control over the match. Champion Bowler Bumrah was not at his best gave away 40+runs in his four overs and took two wickets.
