Megharaja has been gracious in areas of the city, including Khokhra, Hatkeshwar, Amraiwadi, Vastral, CTM, Jashodanagar, Ghodasar, Vatva, Isanpur, Narol, Maninagar, Ramol, Hathijan, Odhav, Rakhial, Bapunagar. Due to rains, there has been heavy traffic jam from CTM Char Rasta to Jashoda Nagar and Isanpur Bridge for the last one hour. 

Many vehicles have three kilometre long lines. In addition, the Mithakhali underbridge has also been flooded. Scenes of flooding have also been seen on CG Road. Ashram Road, Vadaj and Usmanpura received one inch of rain.

More than 100 per cent of average rainfall

in 14 districts In Gujarat, Megharaja has recorded an average of 94% rainfall of the season with 31.04 inches of rain in September. Only 14.31 inches of rain was recorded between June and August.

These include Jamnagar, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Rajkot, Junagadh, Porbandar, Amreli, Anand, Bharuch, Kutch, Bhavnagar, Botad, Valsad, Chhotaudepur, Narmada, with Jamnagar district receiving the highest average of 138% rainfall of the season.

There are only two talukas where rainfall is between 4.69 inches and 9.84 inches. Valsad tops the list with 90 inches, Navsari second with 61.18 inches and Surat third with 55.19 inches.
