Kapil Sharma’s much-anticipated sequel “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2” has failed to replicate the success of its 2015 predecessor, collecting a disappointing ₹7.2 crore in its first three days at the domestic box office. The Anukalp Goswami-directed comedy earned ₹1.85 crore on day one, ₹2.5 crore on day two, and ₹2.85 crore on day three, according to box office tracking site Sacnilk.com.

The sequel’s performance presents a stark contrast to the original film’s impressive opening. The 2015 comedy collected ₹28.8 crore in its first three days, with ₹10.20 crore on day one, ₹8.60 crore on day two, and ₹10 crore on day three. Despite the disappointing box office numbers, the film’s cast has received appreciation for their performances. The Hindustan Times review highlighted Kapil Sharma’s effortless comic timing and praised Manjot Singh’s contribution as Hubby. Late actor Asrani’s appearance in the film has been described as particularly nostalgic, with reviewers noting his entertaining presence even in his early 80s.
