Launch of Vidya Bharati School of Excellence in Gujarat

Vidya Bharati School, the RSS’s educational arm, is renowned for its nationwide network of private schools. It is embarking on a significant initiative in Gujarat. 

Under the guidance of retired Gujarat government official Nitin Pethani, the organization is set to unveil its inaugural School of Excellence.

Affiliation and Scope Behind Vidya Bharati School:

Distinguished by its affiliation with three prominent educational boards—the Gujarat board, the international board, and CBSE—the Vidya Bharati School of Excellence marks a pioneering venture within the state’s educational landscape. 

Established around six months ago, a dedicated administrative body led by Jhaveri oversees this innovative educational endeavor.

Vidya Bharati School Leadership and Vision:

Nitin Pethani assumes leadership as the chairman of Vidya Bharati’s Gujarat unit, marking his second term in this role. 

Pethani’s extensive experience includes a tenure as chairman of the Gujarat State School Textbook Board and significant roles in academia, including vice chancellorship at Saurashtra University in Rajkot and principalship at Desai CM Arts and Commerce College in Viramgam.

Addressing Political Challenges:

Against the backdrop of factionalism within the BJP, exemplified by recent controversies surrounding key appointments, Tejash Patel, chairman of various cooperative bodies in Gujarat, underscores the importance of unity and cooperation. 

He emphasizes the need for cooperative societies to uphold their founding principles, particularly amidst Gujarat’s role as a national political laboratory.
