A dangerous Nepal Bus Accident occurred, as a bus crashed, in which seven deaths were reported, and 6 were Indian pilgrims.
Six Indian pilgrims were among seven persons killed after their bus crashed 50 metres from a mountain road in Nepal’s Madhesh district on Thursday, according to a media source.
The Scary Nepal Bus Accident:
The Nepal Bus accident took place in the early hours of Thursday in the province’s Bara district when a bus transporting pilgrims from Rajasthan crashed and plunged 50 metres down the road at a riverside south of Churiamai Temple at Simara Sub-Metropolitan City, according to The Kathmandu Post newspaper.
In addition to the six Indians, one Nepalese person was killed in the tragedy, injuring 19 others.
Police on the tragic incident:
“A bus carrying six Indian pilgrims overturned and fell down the road at a river bank.” There were 26 passengers on board, and one Nepalese was also killed in the tragedy. “The deceased’s family has been informed,” stated Deputy Superintendent of Police Pradeep Bahadur Chhetri.
Superintendent of Police Hobindra Bogati, the chief of the Bara district police office, stated that three persons have been apprehended, including bus driver Jilami Khan.
“The driver and coworkers were also injured during the accident and were detained following treatment,” he was cited in the article as adding.
According to the authorities, those injured were treated at several Hetauda hospitals in the neighbouring Makwanpur district.

Road accidents are common in Nepal due to the country’s poor road infrastructure, which is mostly made up of hilly terrain.
On Wednesday, a passenger bus went off the main highway and into an overflowing river in Nepal’s Bagmati district, killing at least eight passengers and injuring at least 15 more.
The disaster occurred when a bus from Kathmandu to the scenic city of Pokhara went off the road and sank into the Trishuli River at Chalise in Dhading district.
