In Gujarat, more than 1000 posts sanctioned for new police stations and outposts sanctioned for sound management of law and order in new areas.

Minister of State for Home Affairs Pradipsinh Jadeja on Monday approved 12 new police stations. The level of police inspectors, police sub-inspectors and eight new police outposts in five districts in the near future. On the other hand, he has made an important statement regarding the new police station as well as recruitment. He has asked to start recruitment process for 12000 LRD posts in the state police system next November.

LRDs las recruitment done in 2018-19. Following the controversial resolution of the General Administration Department-LRD, the announcement of LRD recruitment has given new hope to millions of youths who want to join the police service due to the Koro epidemic.

Minister of State for Home Pradipsinh Jadeja said the government is going to complete the recruitment process till November 2021. Corona break is over and recruitment starts soon.  The Home Department, Recruitment Board is preparing for the recruitment of 12 thousand LRDs in the month of November after Diwali vacation.

Titoi outpost in Aravalli district upgraded to the level of police inspector. Palanpur in Banaskantha, Amirgarh, Vijalpore in Navsari, Valsad Rural in Valsad, Pardi, Dungra stations are upgraded.

After the e-Lokaparna of the new police station in Madhapar, the Home Minister said that it is for Kutch with a view to developing the restaurant, banking, tourism and transportation sectors. Apart from Kutch, five new police stations sanctioned in Surat city, three in rural areas, four in Vadodara city, three in Rajkot rural and two in Bharuch district.
