Payal Rohatgi unearths star Kangana Ranaut Dhaakad and Lock Upp winner Munawar Faruqui.
Dhaakad start to underperform at the box office as many of its shows were canceled due to low employment.
Payal Rohatgi deepened Kangana Ranaut’s performance with Daakad’s Sunday box office participation. Payal Rohatgi called the box office film “sad” and indirectly mocked Munavar Farooqi and his fans. He commented that the Lock Upp winner or fans did not promote the film on social media platforms and did not even show up to see the movie in theaters. Payal is upset to lose Lock Upp, Kangana Ranaut’s host, from Munawar and shoots at both.
Pale pointed out that “Karma is b****” was: “18 votes in the ballot. Earlier this week, former contestant Lock Upp, who attended the Dhaakad premiere, shared photos on his Instagram account and mentioned how Kangana frowned and was unhappy to see it.
“Rangoli, you are a nice person But your sister is not happy to see me. She is offended,” reads part of the caption.
Meanwhile, Dhaakad Kangana Ranaut is struggling at the box office. The film, which came out on the same day as Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, did not do well, reportedly affecting Dhaakad’s broadcast count. A source told Bollywood Hungama: “Audiences were not excited to see Dhaakad. There were reports that a handful of viewers were in theaters on the first day. Many shows across the country have been canceled due to a lack of audience. Apart from that, word of mouth has been terrible. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, on the other hand, delighted the audience. As a result, its power grew so much that the audience rebuffed Dhaakad.” On the second day, Dhaka’s box office receipts hovered around Rs 50 lakh.
The source added: “Some theaters removed them on Saturdays because there was no point showing films with less than 10-15 viewers in a large single-screen auditorium. Multiplexing has also reduced shows to some extent. Starting today (Sunday), there is a huge reduction due to the high demand for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Therefore, the broadcast will be replaced with the broadcast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.”
