Modi’s sister has sent him a rakhi from Pakistan; praises his brother on
handling the pandemic in the country.
To celebrate the auspicious
occasion of Rakshabandhan, Qamar Mohsin Sheikh from Pakistan has sent a rakhi to her brother,
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

wishes her brother good healthy life on Raksha Bandhan:
PM Modi’s sister talked to ANI about sending his brother, a rakhi, and prayed for his health. Qamar said,” In this corona period, I will first look for the safety of my brother. We should not mind because of the current situation in the country. If it had been possible, he would have called me definitely. I have sent my Rakhi to him via courier along with a letter. I pray for long life for him. He should keep working like this only. I pray to Allah for his good and healthy life.” Qamar further expressed her wish to see his brother on the pious festival of brother and sister and said that PM Modi might interact with her on a video call on the day of Raksha Bandhan. Qamar admitted the current global situation and said, “I regret that this will be out 25th Raksha Bandhan and I couldn’t tie Rakhi by myself this year because of the pandemic. I pray he keeps doing good work for the people and people bless him.”

Qamar further praised her
brother (PM Modi)’s way of handling the coronavirus pandemic situation in the
country. She said that PM Modi handled the COVID-19 situation very well and
lauded his timely decision of a nationwide lockdown and stated that the reality
would have been much worse had he not taken the needed steps. Along with the rakhi and letter, Qamar also sent PM Modi a book by
the famous writer, Padmashri Garender Patel, called “Qamar Jahan”.
