R Balki’s directorial Chup will be available in five languages to viewers: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The thriller,R Balki’s directorial Chup starring Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan, and Shreya Dhanwanthary, tells the story of a psychopath killer who targets film critics. When it was release in theatres on September 23, the film received mixed reviews from critics.
Chup, which is bill as a tribute to master filmmaker Guru Dutt also his 1959 classic Kaagaz Ke Phool, is a movie made around an artist’s sensitivity, according to Balki.
“Chup is a story about an artist’s insensitivity to criticism of his or her work. As well as the flaw in the artist’s reaction to such criticism. It’s a film about the perils of mistaking responsibility for power “In a statement, the director said.
The movie will have its world digital premiere on Zee5 in five languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Another eagerly anticipated film on Zee5 is Madhur Bhandarkar’s India Lockdown. Which will be release on the OTT platform on December 2. An elderly father desperate to reach his pregnant daughter, a grounded pilot stuck at home, a feisty, out-of-work sex worker. And a migrant couple walking home to their village are all featured in India Lockdown. The film depicts the common people’s trauma and trials during the first lockdown following the COVID-19 pandemic.
The film was shot in February and March 2021, just before the deadly COVID-19 Delta wave struck the country.
Prateik Babber, Sai Tamhankar, Shweta Basu Prasad, Aahana Kumra, Satvik Bhatia, and Prakash Belawadi star in India Lockdown. Which will have its gala premiere on November 21 at the International Film Festival of India in Goa.
