Rajpal Yadav Fires Back at Sonu Sood Over ‘Give Him Work’ Comment

Actor Rajpal Yadav has responded sharply to fellow actor Sonu Sood’s recent comment about offering him work during his ongoing legal difficulties. Speaking to the media in Mumbai, Yadav made clear he has no shortage of professional opportunities, saying he receives four times more work than people assume and works even through his vacations.

Yadav Sets the Record Straight on His Career

Yadav dismissed the notion that he is struggling for roles, stating that work has been a constant companion for the past eleven years. He emphasized that cinema is his passion and that he approaches his craft with dedication, regardless of personal challenges. Currently out on interim bail until March 18 in connection with a 2012 cheque-bounce case, he insists his professional life remains unaffected.

Hitting Back at Priyadarshan’s Remarks

The actor also took aim at filmmaker Priyadarshan, who had suggested Yadav’s legal troubles stemmed from poor education. Yadav firmly rejected this, pointing to his 25 to 30 years of sustained success in the industry as evidence of both his competence and resilience. He expressed deep respect for Priyadarshan as a director while maintaining that outsiders do not have the full picture of his situation.

Despite the controversy, Yadav confirmed a packed professional schedule ahead, including Bhoot Bangla, Welcome to the Jungle, Haiwaan, two web series, and two additional undisclosed film projects.
