Ranveer Singh Gifted ₹5 Crore Car as ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ Crosses ₹1,000 Crore

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh arrived at the airport in style on Friday, turning heads as he stepped out of a brand-new luxury GMC Hummer reportedly worth ₹5 crore. The extravagant vehicle was gifted to him by Yami Gautam, wife of filmmaker Aditya Dhar, as a token of appreciation for the phenomenal box office performance of their collaboration, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’.

A Box Office Juggernaut

The film has been nothing short of a commercial sensation. Despite a slight dip on its second Friday, collecting an estimated ₹49.67 crore, the film’s cumulative worldwide earnings reached an impressive ₹1,128.99 crore — comprising ₹854.99 crore from domestic markets and ₹274 crore from overseas. Its net collections currently stand at approximately ₹715.72 crore, firmly placing it among Bollywood’s all-time highest-grossing films. The combined earnings of the ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise have now surpassed ₹2,400 crore.

With this milestone, Ranveer Singh became only the third actor in Hindi cinema to deliver two ₹1,000 crore films — achieving the feat in a remarkable three months, significantly faster than Shah Rukh Khan, who took nine months, and Prabhas, who took several years.

A Star Who Keeps It Real

Away from the glamour, Ranveer also showed his warm, grounded side at the airport. A fan approached him with a birthday cake, and rather than simply accepting it, Ranveer held the cake himself and sang the birthday song for the fan, who was visibly overwhelmed. He then fed Ranveer a piece of cake before the actor cheerfully posed for selfies with several others, leaving fans thoroughly charmed.
