Gujarat celebrated a remarkable achievement on Tuesday as 25 candidates from the state successfully cleared the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel congratulated the aspirants, extending his best wishes for their promising future. The milestone was achieved by the Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat’s premier training institute.
SPIPA’s Remarkable Feat
All 25 successful candidates received coaching from the UPSC Study Center at SPIPA in Ahmedabad. Mohammad Shahid, Director General of SPIPA, expressed pride in the institute’s achievement, noting that this year marked the highest number of selections in SPIPA’s history.
Among the successful candidates, three are expected to join the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), two in the Indian Police Service (IPS), and potentially more in other prestigious services.
Top Achievers from Gujarat
Vishnu Sasikumar, from Vapi in Valsad, secured the top rank with an All India Rank (AIR) of 31. Despite facing challenges, Vishnu pursued his dream of joining the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and succeeded in his third attempt.
Anjali Thakur, ranked 43rd, hails from Surat and aspired to join the IAS since her school days. Atul Tyagi, securing AIR 62, is another notable achiever from the state.
