Rain in Gujarat: After enduring high temperatures in recent days, residents of Gujarat can anticipate relief as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts unusual rain over the next seven days.

Rain in Gujarat Forecast Details: 

IMD’s latest bulletin forecasts light thunderstorms with lightning and surface winds of 30-40 kmph, accompanied by light rain, in various parts of Gujarat from May 10th to May 16th.

Day-wise Weather Forecast:

Day 1: (Valid until 0830 Hrs. IST of 11/05/2024)

  • Light rain/thundershower expected at isolated places in several districts, including Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Dahod, Mahisagar, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, and Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli.

Day 2: (Valid from 0830 Hrs. IST of 11/05/2024 to 0830 Hrs. IST of 12/05/2024)

  • Similar conditions expected, with light rain/thundershower forecasted in various districts of Gujarat region.

Day 3: (Valid from 0830 Hrs. IST of 12/05/2024 to 0830 Hrs. IST of 13/05/2024)

  • Isolated light rain/thundershower likely in districts such as Dahod, Mahisagar, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, and Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli.

Day 4-7: (Valid from 0830 Hrs. IST of 13/05/2024 to 0830 Hrs. IST of 17/05/2024)

  • Continued chances of light thundershower at isolated places across Gujarat region and adjacent areas, offering respite from the prevailing dry weather conditions.
