Rhea Chakraborty requested the Cyber Crime Cell to take action and states that her silence does not give anyone the right to send her violent abuses.
On Thursday, model turned actress Rhea Chakraborty, took to her Instagram page to expose the violent, abusive message she received on the platform. Rhea shared the screenshot and revealed the abuser who threatened to rape and murder her. Rhea shared the image and said that she won’t take the violent abuses hurled at her silence anymore and requested the Cyber Crime Cell to take the necessary action.

The constant abuses Rhea has been receiving since the death of her boyfriend, actor Sushant Singh Rajput by suicide, seem to have got her finally. In the long post, Chakraborty stated that no one should go through this toxic process of dealing with such harassment. Rhea wrote in the note that she kept silent all the while whenever someone called her a gold digger, murderer, or even when she was slut-shamed. But citing a limit to it, Rhea asked that how did her silence give them (abusers) the right to tell her that they will rape and murder her? She tagged the abuser @mannu_raaut who threatened her to murder and rape her if Rhea did not commit suicide. Rhea gave a fitting reply to the abuse and informed her followers that these are crimes in the eyes of law and how one should refrain from making such remarks.

Rhea also tweeted to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and demanded a CBI probe into the mysterious suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress revealed that as the late actor’s girlfriend, she wants to know the reason which led to suicide.
