Important decisions taken in the core committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani to celebrate Janmashtami and Ganeshotsav.
Janmashtami: To celebrate Krishna Janmotsav on Monday 30/9/2021 at midnight, curfew time extended in 9 metros for one day on August 30 from 1 pm.
A maximum of 200 people can visit the temple premises at a time. All visitors to the temples must follow the SOP, the guideline for controlling the transition to the Koro.
To maintain social distance at two feet, one has to make a circle by standing in a circle. To maintain the tradition of the Janmashtami procession in the state, 200 people allowed to travel on a limited route. Lokmela of Janmashtami festival not allowed in the state. The Matki Food festival not allowed.

A 6-foot Ganesha statue you can keep in a public Ganeshotsav. A two-foot Ganesha statue you can keep in a house. At public Ganeshotsav venues, people will be able to pay homage to Ganesha in the pavilion with social distance and Koro’s transition control guidelines SOP compliance, mandatory masks.
