Sachet-Parampara’s Windshield Broken by Fans at New Year’s Eve Concert

Popular music duo Sachet-Parampara experienced a shocking incident following their New Year’s Eve performance in Balurghat, West Bengal. While performing at the concert, the couple was mobbed by enthusiastic fans who surrounded their car, resulting in the vehicle’s windshield being broken during the chaos.

Fan Enthusiasm Turns to Chaos

A video captured the moment Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur were waving at fans from their car when someone tapped loudly on the windshield. As more fans crowded around the vehicle trying to capture videos and get closer to the performers, the windshield shattered. Security personnel quickly intervened to control the situation and disperse the crowd, though not before significant damage had occurred. Despite the frightening experience, Parampara remained composed, saying “Relax, Happy New Year” during the incident.

Professional Response and Future Plans

Rather than publicly addressing the unfortunate incident, Sachet-Parampara chose to focus on positivity by sharing New Year’s wishes with their fans. They posted: “Happy New Year to all our dear people who stood by us! May 2026 be extraordinarily good and healthy for all of you.” The duo also shared videos from their concert, celebrating the countdown to the new year with their supporters.

The music composer and vocalist duo, known for their work on blockbuster films like Kabir Singh and Tanhaji, gained prominence after appearing on The Voice India in 2015. They married in 2020 and continue to create music for Hindi cinema. Their recent compositions include tracks for Saiyaara and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
