Samrat Prithviraj has been banned in Oman and Kuwait

Samrat Prithviraj’s team has yet to confirm the film’s ban in the countries officially.

Samrat Prithviraj, a historical drama starring Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar, will not be released in Oman or Kuwait. Why? Because the countries have outlawed period films.

According to reliable sources close to the film, the film is ban in the countries with no explanation. Several sources have revealed the most recent update, while the film’s team has yet to confirm it.

Samrat Prithviraj, released in India on June 3, narrates the life story of legendary warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan, played by Kumar. Chhillar appears in the film as Princess Sanyogita.

The film marks Chhillar’s Bollywood debut, having been write and direct by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. The film was previously titled Prithviraj. However, on May 27, the film team change the title after writing a letter to Karni Sena demanding that the title be change. Meanwhile, Kumar and Chhillar are busy promoting the film, which has historical significance as the actors travel across the country to pay homage to Prithviraj Chauhan at various ancient sites.

On Wednesday, they paid tribute to him at his Delhi fort Qila Rai Pithora, a fortified complex in the capital. It was the epicenter of Prithviraj’s reign. It is a very relevant film for Kumar, especially for future generations. “What he did and how he did it…” After learning about his life, I was taken aback. You won’t believe he used to talk about women’s empowerment back then. Kumar stated, “This is a film for our children and future generations.”
