Three of his buddies, the youngest of whom is 11 years old, allegedly strangled a 12-year-old child with a cycle chain in Madhya Pradesh Seoni district, according to police. The victim’s head was shattered with a stone, and his neck was slashed with a butcher knife.

On Sunday, a murder occurred in Magarkatha village near Seoni.

The three juveniles placed the 12-year-old’s body in a polythene bag as well as dumped it on a pile of rocks near their house. A woman noticed the blood-stained bag, which led police to the crime.

Shashikant Sareyam, a sub-divisional police officer (SDOP) in Barghat, said the 16-year-old accused tried to chat with the 12-year-old boy’s sister. When the victim found out, he and the accused argued. This was the catalyst for the heinous murder.

The three juveniles were detained and sent to court, sentenced to 14 days in a detention facility.

“On Sunday, the trio, aged 16, 14, and 11 respectively, including two brothers, summoned the 12-year-old boy to a deserted location in Magarkatha village, about 28 kilometres from the Seoni district headquarters,” Barghat police station Inspector Prasanna Sharma told news agency PTI.

Despite being juveniles, he said that the trio acted like serial killers.

“They planned the crime and summoned their 12-year-old pal to a remote location. They snatched him and strangled him with a bicycle chain. “As the boy cried out in agony, they smashed his head with a large stone and slit his throat with a sharp knife used for slaughtering goats,” Sharma explained.

The police officer said that the three lads stuffed the body in a polythene bag, dumped it on a mound of pebbles outside their house, and fled to avoid startling a nearby woman.
