Shah Rukh Khan makes fun of himself on not doing a film, for over 1.5 years.
Shah Rukh Khan’s last film, Zero, had released in the cinemas in December 2018, and King Khan has since not even signed a new film.
Actor-Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is pretty known for his tongue-in-cheek humor and sarcastic wit. King Khan always had a witty response up his sleeve, be it in interviews, press conferences, or his social media. On Friday, SRK’s reply to wife Gauri Khan’s latest Instagram post has yet again left everyone in splits.

In the post, Gauri Khan posted a throwback photo of herself & SRK along with the superstar’s wax statue at Grevin Wax Museum, Paris. Gauri captioned the photo as “two much to handle” and tagged her husband, Shah Rukh Khan. SRK came up with a self-bashing witty comment which read “ aur for the last one year and six months, dono Ghar pe hai”, which translates to and both of them (SRK and his statue) are sitting at home for the past one year and six months.
No new film on the cards for Shah Rukh Khan:
The actor made a dig on himself as SRK has yet not signed any new film, post the debacle of Aanand L Rai’s successful film, Zero. The film had released on Christmas 2018, where the actor played a vertically challenged guy. SRK’s character falls in love with Anushka Sharma, who is a wheelchair-bound scientist. The character then falls in love with a famous actress in the film itself, which was performed by Katrina Kaif. The film was met with bad word of mouth and failed to set the cash counters ringing at the box office.
Since then, the superstar has not signed any new film and has focused on developing his home production Red Chillies Entertainment instead.
