Shah Rukh Khan wanted Woo Jackie Chan to be a part of Ra. One, but failed.

On March 2010 Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter for his upcoming superhero extravaganza movie ‘Ra.One’ that “No Jackie Chan” will be starred in the film.

He also announced that there would be “Akon song in the film”, In the early Indian days the celebs were new to Twitter. Therefore, there are only two replies to Shah Rukh Khan’s tweet.

The actor started the Hong Kong action star for a small part in his most expensive film. Jackie Chan has been well documented of Shah Rukh Khan’s Fandom. If not significant press events, at the very least, the separate tweet would have demanded announcements such as these.

“I love him. I’ve asked him, but he’s very costly. I’m going to give a chance and speak with him in the next few days again.” Shah Rukh Khan said on Jonathan Ross’ talk show. While doing promotion of “My Name Is Khan,” the actor talk that Wooing Jackie is very ‘expensive.’

“My kids love jackie; I love him too. On a light note he also said when I was having my first kid, I prayed to God ‘I hope my son looks like Jackie Chan. I love him so much.’ And he does. “ he added, “I hope I can (convince him). It’s a new film I’m trying to bring in a western kind of a superhero. I’m shooting it in London. So if you see me flying Piccadilly, just wave.” He continued.

“Two of my absolute favourite men in the world. Way to go Sonu and please tell Jackie I want to come and see him.” He wrote on Twitter in 2015 sharing a picture with actor Sonu Sood and Jackie Chan. This time he nearly received 5000 replies. Shah Rukh Khan participated in an event with Jackie Chan, Jason Momoa and Jean-Claude Van Damme in Saudi Arabia.
