Smriti Mandhana and Palaash Muchhal Wedding Postponed

Cricketer Smriti Mandhana and singer-composer Palaash Muchhal’s highly anticipated wedding was abruptly postponed on November 23 following a family medical crisis. Smriti’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, suffered a serious health emergency and was rushed to hospital. Palaash, deeply affected by the situation, was also briefly hospitalized and placed on IV support. Both families confirmed that health concerns were the sole reason for the delay, urging the public to respect their privacy during this difficult time.

Event Company Fuels Wedding Speculation

The event management company handling the grand Sangli celebrations added fuel to the rumor mill with a cryptic Instagram post. The agency’s enigmatic message reading “We don’t cross the finish line in every match of Life that we play…Will see you soon Champion” went viral, sparking widespread speculation about the postponement. The vague nature of the post left fans and media guessing, particularly as unverified cheating rumors circulated online simultaneously. Choreographers involved in the wedding also publicly denied the false allegations circulating on social media.

Families Deny Rumors, Confirm Rescheduling

Smriti’s brother Shravan Mandhana dismissed reports claiming the wedding was rescheduled for December 7, calling such claims “misinformation.” Palaash’s mother, Amita Muchhal, reaffirmed that the postponement was purely health-related and emphasized that Palaash himself had suggested delaying the celebrations. Neither the couple nor their families have directly addressed the unfounded rumors. Both Smriti and Palaash have added an evil-eye emoji to their Instagram bios as their only public response to the ongoing speculation surrounding their postponed wedding.
