Steven Smith’s brilliant 100 helps Australia beat India in the 2nd ODI and take ODI series 2020.

Steven Smith is in tremendous form, surely this unorthodox new age Bradman sees the ball like a football. He smashed back to back ODI hundreds against Indian team which is rated as top bowling line up currently in all formats.

Batting first Warner and Finch once again started beautifully and put a good partnership which gave the perfect platform to steven smith come out there and express freely and man he smashed Indian bowlers all parts of the ground.

Warner scored good runs and Finch 60runs after that it was Steven Smith’s show once again. Smith scored a brilliant 104 and got out in the Hardik Pandya’s dibli doubli bowling. Australia once scored massive 370runs in 50 overs.

Indian bowlers looked like gully bowlers whether its Shami, Number one bowler Bumrah or clueless Saini. Chahal’s outing has been horrible till now in both matches he has not taken wickets and given away many runs. On the other side wrist-spinner, Zampa is bowling beautifully in tough pitches which is a great sign for Australia because wrist spinners are always an asset to the team.

In reply to the big total 390, India started well, but Dhawan and Agarwal once again gave away wickets. Kohli did play well for his 89runs, but it was not the inning which we expected from run machine Kohli. We didn’t see that fire in Kohli which we regularly see while he chases the scores. Kohli is surely not in his prime form, which is hurting India a lot. India lost back to back 5matches.

Rahul scored a 76runs inning, but I felt it was not for the team it was for him. I seriously felt like he was playing a practice match with no intention of trying to chase the score. On the other hand, Hardik was trying, but unluckily he was not able to connect the ball.

In the end, Jadeja tried some hand, but it was too late to chase down a big total of 390. Bowling unit of India should now sit down and think about stopping the most unorthodox batsman of our time Smith because he can take matches away.

Saini needs to work on a seam or increase some pace. He was not near to 145km. Only Bumrah bowled fast bowling touching 147km speed. Saini is in the team for his pace. He is letting down Kohli’s confidence. We will see Sardul Thakur and Kuldeep on the place of Saini and Chahal, just a break to both bowlers and try something new.

India lacks that intent not seeing that aggression which we show in the last few years and no one is getting big for the team.

All an all Poor start to series, India has to fight back else these series will embrace, and we might see whitewash in ODI, T20 and test matches as we have seen in the past if the team not getting momentum and confidence can lose everything in the series. We hope that doesn’t happen in 2020. We want to see that aggression of Kohli and most important is 100run partnership from openers. Bowling unit needs to think about a few slots and how to stop runs in flat pitches can give away 375runs in all the matches because it becomes impossible for the batsman to win such big scores especially rivals like Australia who have a good bowling line up.

In the 2nd ODI Australia vs India match, we show Indian guy proposing Australian girl which everyone enjoyed. It was a beautiful moment when the girl said yes to an Indian guy.
