Dhanush, a Tamil actor, has announced his divorce from Aishwarya Rajinikanth.
On Monday night, Tamil actor Dhanush announced his divorce from filmmaker wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth after 18 years of marriage.
Dhanush and Aishwarya posted notes on their respective social media accounts announcing their separation.
“18 years of being together as friends, as a couple, as parents, and as well-wishers to each other.” The journey has been one of development, comprehension, adjustment, and adaptation. We’ve arrived at a crossroads in our lives. Aishwaryaa or I have decided to part ways as a couple to understand ourselves as individuals better.
“Please respect our decision and provide us with the necessary privacy to deal with this. Greetings, Namashivaaya! D, please spread the love. “Dhanush revealed this in a tweet.
Aishwaryaa posted the same message on Instagram with the caption: “No need for a caption…
Only your understanding and love are required!”
Dhanush and Aishwarya, the daughter of actor Rajinikanth, married in 2004. Yatra and Linga, their two sons, were born in 2006 and 2010, respectively.
Aishwaryaa has directed films such as “3,” a Tamil romantic thriller, and “Vai Raja Vai,” a black comedy.
Dhanush, a producer, was recently seen in the Aanand L Rai-directed Hindi romantic drama Atrangi Re and had a long career in Tamil cinema.
