The Mahindra Scorpio Classic S costs Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Mahindra Scorpio Classic S11 costs Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). These are introductory prices.
Despite the introduction of the all-new Mahindra Scorpio-N, the company is keeping the older model. Albeit with Scorpio Classic badging, because it believes there is still a strong demand for it. In terms of design, Mahindra has tweaked the front grille with the new Twin Peaks logo. A revised bumper with LED DRLs placed above the fog lamps, new 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, and an updated tail lamp cluster. As well as the new Galaxy Grey color option shown above.
The interior of the Mahindra Scorpio has been give a black-beige treatment and upgrade seat upholstery.
Still, the layout and most interior elements have remained unchanged.
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic S grade will be available in seven or nine-seat configurations. Receiving both a second-row bench and side-facing jump seats. The top-tier S11 will be available in two seven-seat designs: one with captain seats in the second row also a front-facing third-row bar with space for three (claimed), and the other with a second-row bench with room for three and jump seats behind.
The suspension setup has been tweak to improve the ride quality and reduce body roll. The 2.2-liter mHawk Gen 2 engine from the Scorpio-N powers the Mahindra Scorpio Classic. Producing 132bhp and 300Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed manual transmission sends power only to the rear wheels.
