Besides RAM, storage, and cosmetic upgrades, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Space Edition is expected to have similar specifications to the Axon 40 Ultra.

According to ZTE’s President of Mobile Devices Ni Fei, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. That introduced the Axon 40 Ultra with an under-display front camera and a sleek design earlier this year. The company may now be work on a special Ultra Space Edition of the smartphone series. Last year, the smartphone manufacturer released a special edition of the Axon 30 Ultra with 18GB of RAM also 1TB of internal storage.

The first public revelation of the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Space Edition came via Fei’s Weibo post, in which he teased images clicked on the alleged smartphone.

As previously stated, the company also released an Aerospace Edition of the Axon 30 Ultra last year.

However, apart from an increase in RAM and storage capacity and a cosmetic touchup that feature a Taikonaut logo. Which is use to denote a Chinese Astronaut, on the back of the special edition phone. The ZTE Axon 30 UltraAerospaceEdition did not feature any specification upgrades from the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G.

According to Gizchina, the upcoming Space Edition from Chinese smartphone maker. The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Space Edition, is expect to follow suit in terms of RAM and storage upgrades. Which could translate to the smartphone featuring 18GB RAM and 1TB storage. As well as the cosmetic Taikonaut touchup on the back of the smartphone.

Meanwhile, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra has a 6.81-inch AMOLED display panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels. A 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, 10-bit color, 400 PPI pixel density, and 1500nits of brightness.
