At least 12 individuals died after a structure crumbled in a local location of Mahad in Maharashtra‘s Raigad region on Monday. The casualties were recognized as Sayyed Samir (45), Naveed Zamane (35), Nausin Nadim Bangi (30), and Aadi Hashim Shaiknag (16). One of the casualties was not an inhabitant of the building named Tarique Garden, yet had endured wounds in the mishap, and passed away due to heart failure while under treatment. Up until now, 78 individuals have been rescued from the debris.

Not more than ten years ago, Tarique Garden was a ground-in addition to four structures. Around 40 families lived in the structure. At 6.50 pm Monday, the top three stories crumbled. Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday said the occurrence disheartened him and supplicated the harmed recouped soon. “Disheartened by the building collapse in Mahad, Raigad in Maharashtra. My condolences are with the groups of individuals who lost their darlings. I implore the harmed recover soon.
