Yaj Barai of okha Dwarka, a 1-year and 7-month-old resident of Okha in Dwarka district recognizes 21 flags in just one minute.

He also speaks greetings in French, numbers from 1 to 15, and the English alphabet, a few animal and bird names. The International Book has awarded yaj the Super Talented Kid Award for recognizing 21 flags of different countries. 

His parents are teaching him to recognize more flags to grab the India Book of Records World Book Award.

Yaj’s mother, Jinalben and father Jayabhai Barai said that when Yajna was one and a half years old, he used to play with the flag flashcard. At that time they asked him what it was, so they taught him to recognize it. 

Yaj’s father Jai wears a brooch with the Indian tricolour. Yaj started to recognise flag colour from there on. He felt that this was not normal. Then in just two months of teaching him, Yaj started recognizing 21 flags in 60 seconds.

For this, he has also received the award of Super Talented Kid. Yaj is currently learning French. At the same time, knowledge of Sanskrit is also being imparted to him. 

Yaj recites verses of the Lord spoken at home during the morning puja, such as the Gayatri Mantra. The Mahamrutyunjaya Mantra, as well as religious hymns.
