Police confiscated more than 300 crores of illegal drugs in Gujarat’s Devbhumi Dwarka district on Wednesday.

Around 19 packets of drugs worth 88 lakh rupees were seized that morning, while another 47 packages were later found. The drugs were brought from Pakistan by sea to be smuggled into Gujarat from the waterfront Dwarka area, a police official said.

According to Police sources based on specific information. They arrested Sajad Dosi, 44, a Mumbra resident from Thane District in Maharashtra, and found a drug packet hidden in his pocket. He was carrying 6.6 kg of methamphetamine and 11.4 kg of heroin in three bags. Including a briefcase and a school bag.

When questioned, Dosi, a vegetable seller, admitted that he got the medicine from Salim Yakub Kara and Ali Yakub Kara. Both from the town of Salaya, near Jamnagar. During a raid on their home, the police found another 47 packets of drugs. The contents of which are being examined by the Criminal Investigation Department.

“Dhosi has previously been arrested in a murder case, and Salim Kara has been arrested in the past for NDPS, counterfeit money, and the Arms Act,” said Sandeep Singh from the Rajkot district.
