A communally sensitive video goes viral in J&K; Police registers case.

In the video taken by a local news portal of three separate incidents, Bharat Raksha Manch leader is seen speaking in derogatory language against the spiritual head of a religious community. 

On Sunday, a communally sensitive video went viral on the social media wherein a leader of Bharat Raksha Manch is seen mouthing derogatory words for a spiritual head of a religious community in Jammu & Kashmir. J&K Police registered a case and began the investigation in the matter. A police spokesperson said that the video seemed to have been maliciously posted to create communal tension, and assured that strict legal action against those who created such content. The spokesperson further stated,” In this incident, cognizance has been taken and an investigation launched in Pacca Danga Police Station, Jammu. The J&K Police appeal the people to not fall prey to the agenda of anti-national elements.” 

No arrests made in the viral video full of communal hate in Jammu & Kashmir:

Sources revealed that the FIR lodged in the matter, does not name any accused, and till now, no arrests have been made. In the viral video, the Bharat Raksha Manch leader spoke against three separate incidents involving members from two different communities. In one incident, the leader said that a Naib Tehsildar, in Reasi district’s Arnas area, allegedly committed an unnatural act with a bovine animal. The other incident involved a person allegedly inflicting an injury to a bovine animal with the use of a sharp-edged weapon. 

Bharat Raksha Manch leader says the viral video is tutored:

Following these two incidents, the alleged suspect’s son was beaten up in the presence of a policeman by local youth, the video of which, had gone viral on social media. In this matter, the police arrested over half a dozen people, including a revenue official among the alleged assailants. The police lodged three separate FIRs and stated that the hunt is one for nearly half a dozen other accused in both these cases. The leader who allegedly made communal remarks against the spiritual head of a religious community has said that the video has been tutored.
