Adani One Expands into Digital Lending with Pilot Projects

Adani Group’s ‘super app,’ Adani One, has expanded significantly into digital lending. Operated under Adani Enterprise Limited’s digital branch, Adani Digital Labs Ltd., the app is broadening its focus from travel and airport services to financial services.

Adani One Partnership with KrazyBee Services:

In a notable development, The app has partnered with KrazyBee Services, the NBFC subsidiary of the fintech company KreditBee, to offer personal loans. This collaboration marks the app’s initial foray into financial services, facilitating personal loans through the platform.

Sources indicate that Adani One is in discussions with other NBFCs and fintech companies about expanding its credit product offerings. One source noted, “More partnerships are on the way. As of now, one (KreditBee) has completed the pilots, and the personal loan facility will soon reflect on the app.”

Loan Details and Functionality by Adani One:

As a Lending Service Provider (LSP), Digital will enable personal loans ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹5 lakh through KrazyBee’s resources. Commission rates will vary based on the specific agreement and the loan amount.

The app has also partnered with ICICI Bank to offer a co-branded credit card. This card benefits travel and flight bookings, enhancing the app’s offerings.

The super app facilitates bill payments by integrating with the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), making it a comprehensive platform for various user needs.

Industry Context:

This expansion comes as Tata Group continues to focus on its super app, Neu, despite its launch more than two years ago and investments exceeding $2 billion.

Interestingly, KreditBee is also a lending partner for Tata Neu, highlighting the competitive landscape in the super app sector.
