Ahmedabad airport TAXI drivers attack on security member

On Thursday night, two airport security officers were reportedly assaulted by a group of taxi drivers near Hanuman Camp. The incident occurred when Kamlesh Christi, a security officer at Ahmedabad Airport GDX Security, and his supervisor, Praganesh Dantani, were traveling by bike to Meghaninagar after their shift. As they passed through Hanuman Camp, they were attacked by several taxi drivers, including Raju Rabari, Sagar Rabari, Anand Rabari, and an unidentified individual.

According to the complaint, the altercation was sparked by a previous dispute between the taxi drivers and the security officers over passenger pickups at the airport. Police officials, including Shahibaug PI JD Zala, confirmed the report, but no arrests have been made yet. Investigations are ongoing, as authorities work to gather more information about the incident and identify the remaining individuals involved.

The attack has raised concerns about the safety of airport personnel and the ongoing tensions between taxi drivers and security staff over passenger handling at the airport. Further updates are awaited as police continue their investigation into the matter.
