In this Rakul Preet Singh-starrer, Ajay Devgn plays Chitragupt. While Sidharth Malhotra is expect to play the ‘common man’ in Thank God.
In an exclusive piece of news, we just report that the Thank God trailer will be release on September 9. Right before the film’s release, the makers decided to give everyone a sneak peek at the characters by releasing character posters of the male leads, Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra. The actors will play Chitragupt and a common man, respectively.
Ajay Devgn recently release a poster in which he was seen as the modern avatar of Chitragupt. Who is said to be a record keeper of human deeds in heaven according to Indian mythology. The actor was dress in an all-black avatar for his character in the film. “This Diwali, Chitragupt is coming to play the game of life with you also your family!” read the caption on his poster.

On the other side, Sidharth Malhotra looked dapper in his gentleman avatar. The actor is expect to portray a common man. “This Diwali, hoga sabhi karmon ka hisaab, when a common man comes face to face with Chitragupt in the game of life!” read the caption on his poster.
Aside from them, Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra will reunite with their De De Pyaar De also Aiyaari co-star Rakul Preet Singh. T-Series will produce the film, which is expect to be a comedy direct by Indra Kumar. While the trailer will be available on September 9, the film is scheduled to be release on October 25.
